What makes Soda Jerk Soda different?
HI! I’m Cory Clark, founder and Head Jerk behind Soda Jerk Soda. I started this company to meet a need for a better tasting, environmentally friendly soda, made from the finest ingredients possible. I spent months developing recipes, refining processes, sourcing ingredients, and tasting sodas. The results of all that hard work are the unique, tasty refreshments we offer today.
First and foremost I wanted to make a great tasting drink. Soda Jerk does more than copy the large commercial soda brands, we’re developing new flavor combinations and updating classic flavors. Soda Jerk Soda is great for any age group and any occasion where tasty, refreshing beverages would be served. We’re also striving to create a healthier soda using real fruit, natural ingredients, and real organic cane sugar instead of corn syrup.
It was also important to me to create an environmentally conscious company. I have chosen to use as many organic ingredients as possible and proudly display the ingredient list. While not all ingredients we use are able to be grown in the Northwest, we always seek out ingredients that are locally produced first and locally distributed second to reduce our carbon footprint.
I also wanted to use 100% compostable serving materials. The cups (corn based), straws (corn based) and napkins (made from recycled material) are all safe to put into the compost bin. When the occasion allows for us to sell growlers, we offer a deposit program to encourage patrons to return the glass bottles for sanitizing and reuse.
Bow tie wearing Soda Jerks in the ‘50’s would mix syrups with soda water, to order, at soda fountains, diners, and pharmacies all over America. While sharing this name, Soda Jerk Soda makes Fresh Sodas because they are made directly from the freshest ingredients allowing for the most creativity, least amount of sugar and greatest tasting soda you will ever have.
